Archival Integrity Note

The citywide working figure of ~416 homes reflects RSM (~375), Northgate / Walnut Grove (~34), and Valley Vista / Pazzi (~7). Individual tract counts reflect the most defensible archival figures; the RSM count discrepancy (some sources cite ~416 for RSM alone) is flagged within the card rather than collapsed into an artificial total. A National Register of Historic Places nomination was formally prepared for Rancho San Miguel but the tract was not listed — a documented preservation near-miss. SSO status is parcel/neighborhood-specific and has not been established for any Walnut Creek Eichler tract. Research compiled by Kevin Limprecht / The Eichler Vault.
